Fabio Loyola

Novartis / Associate Director - Program Management & Global PMO (Business Transformation Solutions)

Fabio is a co-founder of the PMI PMO CZ Community, a professional network dedicated to advancing Project Management Office (PMO) practices in the Czech Republic and the surrounding region. The community was established in early 2025 as a Program inside of the PMI Czech Republic Chapter.

He contributes to shaping the community’s vision, objectives, and strategic direction, supporting activities such as event planning, the Roadmap 2025–2026, and knowledge-sharing initiatives. Fabio also speaks at community events and leads the production of the PMO newsletter, helping keep members informed and connected.

On the corporate side, Fabio works in transformation and program leadership, supporting complex, multi-country business and enterprise transformation initiatives across global environments.

His work includes coordinating large-scale enterprise programs such as ERP implementations (SAP S/4HANA, Workday HCM) and operating model transformations, with a focus on PMO practices including governance, deployment coordination, and operational readiness in regulated environments.
He focuses on strengthening program and project governance, supporting risk management practices, and improving delivery structures that help organizations implement sustainable change.

Examples of programs Fabio has contributed to include:

  •  Currently: Global PMO / Program Manager in a large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation, supporting deployments across 16 countries in the Americas, Europe, and APAC
  • Global HR Transformation Program: Workday HCM implementation across 100 countries
  • Environmental Sustainability Transformation Program: initiatives focused on carbon neutrality (net zero), waste reduction, and water management across the top 15 strategic sites globally
  • Global Real Estate & Facilities Services Transformation Program: development of a global operating model, supporting implementation across 15 countries in the APAC region

IN × OUT: Driving Value with the PMI M.O.R.E. Mindset and the PMO Value Ring & Flywheel (Continuous Value Creation Approach)

This session explores IN × OUT as a dynamic approach for navigating today’s evolving and unpredictable project management environment.
Rather than a rigid checklist, it focuses on continuous movement, helping participants reflect on practices, mindsets, and behaviors to bring “IN” and those to release “OUT”, depending on the context.

It connects these ideas to the PMI M.O.R.E. mindset, demonstrating how:

  • M – Managing perceptions
  • O – Own project success
  • R – Relentlessly reassess project parameters
  • E – Expand perspective

Enabling teams and organizations to generate meaningful, sustainable value. In particular, M – Managing perceptions links directly to the PMO mindset of Embracing PMO Customer Centricity, showing how understanding stakeholder needs and aligning expectations strengthens value creation through the PMO Value Ring framework and the PMO Flywheel (value-generating approach).

Finally, the session encourages participants to extend IN × OUT beyond organizations, projects, and teams to an individual context, where “IN” encourages self-awareness, reflection, and leveraging inner strengths, while “OUT” fosters letting go of habits or overused strengths that no longer serve personal or professional growth.
